Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     The way you do it is just fine, but post them in thumbnail format. Even if it wasn't a general policy here to post thumbs, it definitely be one for this thread with collages/wallpapers reaching such huge sizes.

    I dont know how it works exactly but i know that hotlinking to full size pics is worse than the thumbs.....

    I'm going to weigh in here since I created this thread. (And don't you fuh-get-it! ;) ) Thanks:

    This thread started as a "thumb-thread" because most of the edits/collages were too big to post full-size. That's a good thing, because the images hosts started to suck ass and we lost a few, except the thumbnail image hosts. Then the 10k Encyclopedia came along, and a couple people created absolutely fantastic posts using a combination of large images and thumbnails. The posts were beautiful -- Jet, scribe, austxsoul -- all beautiful. But the image hosts couldn't handle the weight.

    So: This will remain a thumbnail thread. That is dictated by the hosts, so that's the way it's gonna be. It's too bad, because creative people like aus get screwed -- until people click on the thumbnails. Then they get appreciated.

    As for this thread, I watch over it constantly and let you guys go wild without saying much, because that's what makes this thread rock.

    I do want people to be nice here. :D There's no room in here for even one "bad vibe."

    Now let's get back to posting, guys. I'll be looking for some good ones.
