Last night, was works annual Summer party, which by tradition is fancy dress.
I went as a nurse, cool (someone had suggested going as a nun) outfit for a really humid night.

We also got the first rain in over a month.
You try getting a taxi in London dressed as a nurse at 4am in pouring rain.

I loved to dance to this, my Cat (when i had one) looked at me strangely, sometimes i carried her in my arms.

I played football this morning (properly apart from the sore knees World Cup drunk game) in over a month.


But look at the ground, London is turning into a desert.

It felt like playing on a bumpy hill, but we won, ok i need to sit now in the shower for a week, its so humid.

TMonk is absolutely right on that point. Bossa Nova is another genre of music I love. It's funny that you should mention Stan Getz... I saw him perform live with Grover Washington Jr. at a tiny dive jazz club in my hometown in Ohio back in the late 60s... at least I think it was the 60s... coulda been 70, maybe 71 or 2... kinda hard to say... it being the 60s... you know...

but I digress (as I'm often wont to do)... you've brilliant taste in music!

Morning, at work and its like i'm sitting in a sauna, its meant to get up to 37c/98.6, ok some of you might laugh in the face of that
and i'm Australian, so come on its Summer.

But London isn't build for this, you get onto London Underground and its a combo of heat and body heat/smell.

Also people that still don't know how important it is to hydrate.

That could be good. Contrary to the popular belief since Twilight, K-Stew is a good actress. If we see her suddenly hitting the gym and focusing on getting fit, odds are high that she got the job. I'll try not to get too invested, cause last time I got invested in a possible casting was Alexandra Daddario for Wonder Woman and that didn't turn out the way I wanted

I imagine you might have bought a clothespin to put on your nose for when you go underground if that weather keeps up, sad to see you experiencing heat and drought issues like that and I hope it turns soon. Good to see the guardian fox hanging around

 

Thanks, i won't feed him as that's wrong as he'll become dependent, but i have put out water for him and i saw him near it.
But i don't want him/her coming through my window at night, I've heard that urban foxes have become fairly fearless of humans.

I can imagine in this heat he'd want to hide through the day, i wish i could.

I think Kristen could give a new more ghetto/21st urban spin to Barbara Gordon.
But naturally it all depends on the script, i can picture AD as Wonder Woman, but loved Gal as her.
Kristen's films may not have in the whole been mainstream (apart from the dire Snow Whites) but some of her other work (while some may class as arty)
she's been amazing in, its just she hasn't been box office.

As for hitting the gym, she's ahead of you, she's currently filming Kristen "Against All Enemies".

 

Morning, This morning i really wanted Steve McQueen to come back and take me to work on the back of his motor bike!


Meanwhile i'm usually a shower girl, but i stayed in the bath for 90 minutes last night.

Instead i got up really early and left for work at 6am and went for a breakfast before i went into work

I think that a big reason she wound up getting a bad rep as an actress for her performances in Twilight is because she is known for actually hating it after the first(several of the stars did actually) because she thought it was crap, but they were locked into contracts so they had no choice. Therefore, she just mailed it in. You see her out of the mainstream work and she is pretty damn good IMO. It would be interesting to see her as Batgirl.

Yeah i felt the same watching the Twilight movies, loved the first movie, hated with a passion the remaining movies.
The other movies were teenage girl crush crap even the actors looked embrassed being in them, only reason i watchedthem was Kristen was in them.

But i remember seeing the second movie and at the very end with very final line, i said really loudly "Oh for fucks sake come on" and people around me laughed.

I was like that fishy creature from "The Shape of Water" lol

I'm really tempted!!!!!

I'm having a Kristen & Dakota moment, it's what's work was invented for.

 

Good movie, Kristen was pretty damn good in this, she even got the seal of approval and a big thumbs up from the person she played which is not as common as one would think.
