Ok Claire Foy is abso-fucking-lutley! Screenplay not bad, interesting premise, but can't been compared to the previous movies.
Claire Foy makes a good Lisbeth, but some of the dialog is terrible and so cliche, it's a shame as it has a good supporting cast.

Going to watch IO (Netflix) now.

As a young scientist searches for a way to save a dying Earth|
she finds a connection with a man (oh way couldn't it be a Woman)
who's racing to catch the last shuttle off the planet.

If nothing else watch it for Margaret Qualley!

I went through the rest of that article and saw this:

Mental health charity Mind is derisive of the notion of Blue Monday, claiming the concept has no foundation in scientific research.

A statement on their websites says: "Here at Mind, we think it’s dangerously misleading.

"Those of us who live with depression know that those feelings aren’t dictated by the date.

"Implying that they are perpetuates the myth that depression is just 'feeling a bit down', something that doesn’t need to be taken seriously."

Mind’s Head of Information Stephen Buckley said: “Blue Monday contributes to damaging misconceptions about depression and trivialises an illness that can be life threatening. "

Kind of has a point, though dates can dictate depression sometimes, like the anniversary of someones death for example. I don't think this Blue Monday thing is trivializing those of us with depression; now if they were saying something like you can and will be depressed on this date only, then it's trivializing. I'll shut up now, cause in spite of my firsthand knowledge of all things psychiatric I am no doctor.

It's not what it seems, maybe we will need "Space Force".

I don't think sign-posting a depressing day helps, this "Blue Monday" is linked to, nearly a month since Christmas, bills to pay from Christmas, dark days, Winter and seemingly nothing to look forward to.

I live with depression aka "Black Dog" and it doesn't help on that day for radio/tv and press to remind me its "Blue Monday", but as i mentioned yesterday in the blog.

I don't think that has to do with sharing on here, I just think your uninhibited nature came out at a really bad time you said a lot of them already think you're a bit weird there anyway(assholes, you're great the way you are), so just look at it as keeping up appearances

 

You are very correct when it's put like that, us depression folks don't exactly need bonus reminders to be really down. You wouldn't think it necessarily by looking at us, but we do have some sensitivities. This also shows that we officially have holidays for everything now and on every day too, it's a bit much IMO.

Exactly Sophie That second one in particular, it took quite a while for me to see that I am so like that it's scary. Probably a big reason why people like myself and so many others get the shock reaction when it comes out how bad the 'black dog' as you call it is torturing us, cause a lot of us always seem to laugh the loudest or be the most entertaining or nicest.
