This is up there for scene of the year; partly because of how hot it is and partly (for me anyway) because Saoirse was notoriously kinda conservative when it came to sex or nudity. Boy was that thrown out the window here. Graphic yes, pornographic no. The talent involved helped here of course, I'm curious to know how the movie is and anticipate the next edition of 'Film and TV reviews by Sophie' all the choreography though, how do they pull off such chemistry and heat when it is so choreographed? Actors brains have to be sectioned off differently than us to be able to do that all at once, cause it's just not the norm to be so naked and heated with another person and yet be so scripted at the same time. I do love hearing how they basically told the director "Just leave it to us" lol.

And fwiw, the clothed scene was very hot too.

Now about this sandwich you want. I know that my prim and proper friend Sophie is obviously talking about a food item and not about taking the place of an acting and onscreen sexuality hall of famer in Kate Winslet in above mentioned scene

We saw "Ammonite" yesterday and loved it, but anyone watching it purely purely for the sex is going to be really bored.

Unless that is you've got fetish for 1840 era Women on a stony beach.

If you've got it and want to skip to the sex its 1:12 & 1;24, i saw one review that described
it as romantic, i wouldn't far from it, its realistic, betrayal, loss, missed opportunities leading
to... watch it and see.

The making love (as opposed to sex) is choreographed, but as i mentioned before like a fight
sequence it would be otherwise a unsatisfying out of focus jumble of bodies.

Was it realistic? (even if wifie said her chin is dry), yes, was it believable yes and why?
Because it had emotion.
