    Morning, last night preserved myself in alcohol (my Sister helped me) then late night Women’s Football from Orlando USA vs England. I’ll lead with the positive part for the first half we held off the USA! Now onto the reality, we missed opportunities and didn’t score in the first half. We went into the break happy with ourselves and came back and lost our focus and... two rapid goals from the USA if you lose focus the USA will punish you!!! After that, it was catch up, final score USA 2 England 0.

    Which Country are you in? here there are empty shelves of... Toilet Rolls, Pasta and Canned goodso_O

    In Australia, its toilet rolls, that's stupid panic buying which is one thing.

    Which makes me really angry is profiteering by suppliers/warehouses and shops.
    Prices going up (and lack of supplies) of hand sanitizers, face masks and surgical gloves.

    Hand sanitizer, before 75p - £2.50, now (if you can get them, there are limits of one per customer)
    some shops £5 -£8 for the same product.

    Box of 50 Surgical gloves, before £5-£7 in some cases now £50!

    Same in cases for face masks.

    The Government here on cracking down on online scams.

    Here's the advice we got.

    Ok face masks if you have the infection (then what are you doing out?) it will keep the infection in.
    Why wear them when you're out then? are you breathing through the conventional mask?
    No, you're breathing around the sizes of the mask.

    So unless you're wearing a respirator mask, don't bother!!!

    On washing hands, yes!!! when you get home (or if can at work) be like Surgeons about to operate.

    Wash your hands and up your forearms, but you can't really do that when you're out.

    I'm in the US. We sat thru a call at work where they said to go ahead and order what you can from the vendors as they are having trouble filling orders already. there is no telling when a back ordered item will be available.

    This is madness, its be prepared but not panic buying.

    What orders were they trying to fill?

    I'm not going to go into how each country is organising the Corona effort.

    But its gone beyond Politics.

    So far its pretty straight forward at my end. Do a test. If it comes back positive its decided if you need to stay in hospital or go home. If its normal flu symptoms and you go home, your in quarantine for 14 days. You have to sign a legal contract whereby you agree to certain terms. More or less stay in your damn home or apartement. If its slightly more severe symptoms you get a single room in the hospital for a day or two.

    Out of 1000 tests in our nations capital we have 59 positive results so basicaly 6 % are infected i would say that is a pretty decent result all things considered.

    One minor advantage of wearing pretty well any kind of nose and mouth mask is that according to the NHS the most likely way of becoming infected is by touching some infected surface (door knob, handrail, elevator button, light switch, etc..) and subsequently touching your own nose/mouth, which is quite often done unconsciously. The presence of the nose/mouth mask tends to prevent this, and provides a constant reminder not to do so.

    Here lies the problem. Masks, gloves, and disinfectants are the items in short supply. Things needed in day to day operation of the facility where I work. How do you "ration out" supplies so that you don't run completely out? The whole situation has us trying to build a better mousetrap, which may in fact, never exist.
