Didnt ask but I watched the first 12-20 minutes. Interesting so far. Will watch in the rest on the weekend

Ok, I'm "Enjoying" it, but its a really hard watch at times (yes I have Jewish ancestry, but regardless its a hard watch).
But I have no problems with the subject matter (the fictionalisation is mild to what happened in real life).

But I take on board the concerns.

But it does make me uneasy when its turned into "Inglourious basterds" Comic Book Super Heroes meets
Pulp Fiction approach (with echoes of the Umbrella Academy), did they think that would appeal to their target audience?

Personally I don't think it needs "Comic book Super Heroes", yes it balanced by "good" drama/scenes.
But I don't think it needs it and would have been better series if it was a dark drama without the comic elements.

It has an excellent 1970s worthy at times of "The Joker".

Nothing wrong with subs but i never use them personally i feel so comfy with english i go without them.

 

I always like to hear the original voices of whatever language they may be in. I could never quite get my head around when it’s someone else’s voice, to me you lose what the original actor was giving in their performance when it’s dubbed by somebody else.

I will say that voice overs in general has improved alot in movies. They seem to have a better sense of how to translate what happens in the scenes.

For sure i Always Watch features in tehir original language. But sometimes you got to use subs. As muc as i like japanese and South korean films i dont speak the language very well.

Not smart of her IMO, as I know of an athlete who just kept going after dislocating her kneecap and a few minutes later it buckled and to quote the doctor who promptly operated on her, "Her knee basically exploded" as all the ligaments tore. I admire her toughness, and now I picture you doing this considering your much-talked about wonky knee(cause we all know you're tough too).
