We went to Brighton (South Coast of England) yesterday and we're there until Monday.

It was actually Sunny here yesterday afternoon.

Its costing us nothing as we're staying in a friends house while they're away.

They went for the distressed floorboard look, my legs are modelling it.

We went for a few walks, loads of coffee, fed our faces and we're currently addicted to "Killing Eve".

 

You must have been away from the punching bags for too long, let the woman go Sophie!

I love that show! I can't wait for the next season... it was one of the best new programs (well, new to me) of the year.

 

That would be telling, but it could be like a 1950/60's film and they cut away to a Sunset.

Killing Eve is amazing!!!! whole package, story, acting, writing, locations, casting and soundtrack!!!

Going to get back to London today and finish S1.

Last nights Dinner

Rosemary crusted Hake, chargrilled samphire, spring onion and leek, in a red wine reduction.

On our way down on Friday

Vineyard in Sussex (Southern England) apparently they had a really good Summer for Wine.

Its pouring with rain here, so going to get back to London after lunch and finish off "Killing Eve".

Thinks... that sounds wrong.

Then we can "Rest" on Monday and back to work on Tuesday.
When this cap will be quite accurate of me.

Back in London

Monday: No work till Tuesday

Fox: Saw Larry briefly.

Cat: CAT was waiting for us when we got back yesterday.

Neighbour: Last saw him day we for Brighton.


We're on ep7 of 8 of Killing Eve.

Note: I'm not into gaming, but i have a untidy flatmate that is.

 

7:00am What a change, long weekend lovely food in Brighton.

This morning, eating peanut butter in bed.

The difference of just a few hours.

Still any day waking up in London is better than my best day waking up in the middle of the woods... I can't even get Thai food delivered...

 

There's good things living in a urban environment and naturally drawbacks.
Love the countryside too, but i think i'm more attuned to urban environments.

I'd love to live in Brighton (or Edinburgh), it has a happy medium, countryside near and Brighton has the sea.

But i'm lucky in South London, we have so many urban green spaces (Parks and Commons) and i love them.

Plus its 22c today in London.

 

Meanwhile

I'm a complete and utter klutz, we finish Killing Eve, i go and have bath, bring big glass of red wine in with me.
I put the glass on the side of the bath, i strip and in doing so knock the glass on the floor, smashing it..

Red wine goes everywhere, i jump as the red wine hits the floor going on me and all over the floor.
I grab a towel to mop it up and... i get a (thankfully) tiny bit of glass in the sole of foot.

I jump again.

It starts to bleed onto the floor and once i try to get the glass off the floor (and in doing so cut my finger)mixes with the red wine.

So here i am naked, bleeding, covered in red wine, finally managing to get all the glass up.

I get on my hands and knees mopping up up a towel, as possible gf comes in wondering what the swearing was
about, comes in the bathroom sees the red wine, the blood and me covered in it, looking like a scene from Killing Eve.

We got bathroom cleaned, thankfully cuts were nothing.

Now early lunch and i deserve this
