OITNB is out now, i was watching Ray Donovan S5 (2017) i save up all the episodes and watch them the in a Netflix way.

This was the first opportunity I've had to watch them.

Morning, i think i drowned my hangover yesterday

Today is

Going to Edinburgh (in Scotland) next week, no i'm not wearing a Kilt (but love Bagpipes) wore a Kilt once.
Its not like a skirt, it really is like wearing some drapes/curtains, there's so much material in it.

But i do like Kilts.

Got packing to do, I've made some lists, got things together, now all i have to do is get them in my case
My Cousin is staying with me, I've been like a Parent, ok probably bad parenting, but its fun.

Meanwhile, saw this sums up my last date with a guy


I've been hearing non stop radio commerials for the Ant Man/Wasp movie,
they produce that and still not the Black Widow movie...

Maybe the attitude of the Studio bosses hasn't changed that much from
the leaked 2015 e-mail...


But could it be those movies flopped because not because they were Female driven
but because they had dire scripts and were crap movies?

Was CHiPs or King Arthur:Legend of the Sword, Ben-Hur , The Alamo,
The Lone Ranger and John Carter flops because they were Male driven?

The Studio has no problems using Scarlet's image to promote the movie,
(Neither do i, she's hot and very well paid for it, ok some were so computer
generated, she had a physically impossible body) but not to lead a movie?
and i'm not even a feminist lol

Yes i agree while i enjoyed "Ghost in the Shell", i think it came in glut of
"Super Heroes" movies, but was it a flop because the lead character was female?

 

I'm sorry, but ScarJo was miscast in Ghost In The Shell. She's not a great actress imo. Black Widow is Russian but she has a California accent?

 

I think Scarlett Johansson is too often judged on her looks & not ability to act, but that's another story.

But in the Black Widow flashbacks caused by Loki, i think it really worked.

Since Black Widow could of been a plant/sleeper maybe she could have a California accent?
But i think Directors have veered away from the old days of "Oh Mr.Bond" said in a very pronounced Russian accent.

Like i said i enjoyed "Ghost In The Shell", but i agree with you, she was mis-cast, especially after "Lucy" (she was much better) and "Under the Skin".

Too many movies in a similar genre for me.

 

L0ndon 30c -33c

on the Underground 33c this morning, I was surrounded by people who seem to have forgotten how to wash, that & we have a sweat tide going on here.

I'm delighted work has a shower (why do people feel the need to jog to lunchtime) i got a lift in, but had to go 5 stops on the Underground as there were traffic diversions.
5 stops and it was crazy, i love the Underground, its a great way to get around London (but if you're visiting don't use old fashioned "Card" tickets, get a Oyster Card, you
can get them online and delivered to your address Worldwide and top it up as you need it & its cheaper, i see Tourists get the old style Tickets and i say to myself, if only
they knew) i needed to shower and change my clothes.

Now out of work, great thing about London, there's lots of parks.

Going to Edinburgh next week and i still haven't parked.

Meeting my out of town Cousin, (she's been staying with me this week) so London lock up your Son's, Daughters and Cat's.

London has returned to being a Tropical resort, drinks last night


Then had a meal, this was meant to be a Gourmet Burger.. i don't think so

Complained (i can be persuasive) got two for the price of one & free drinks for two and desert.
Person with us didn't complain, (too busy on her phone) more fool her.

 

I love being reminded of songs, i haven't heard this in a while.

Well my Cousin has gone back home, brought her to Kings Cross station for her train home.
It was like i'll never see her again, why am i so bad at goodbyes?

Flat feels so empty (and quite) i better tidy up & get ready for my flat mate who's back tomorrow.

Now i've got to get my arse in gear, get off the roof & get packing, i'm going to Edinburgh and will there until the end of the month.
Packing has not been done, ok stuff has been moved here it, but not yet in the case.
Thinks... why can't i be rich & have a P.A to do it..
