You are so missguided once again.

If you look at how the 2257 laws are written up and how it is enforced it is totaly different than how you think it operates. There are thousands of adult sites opening up every day. If they put that claim on their site what US agency would go to that country and enforce the rule? You can't!


The way the law is set up is you have to put 2257 disclaimer to attest that your site has all legal age models. You post the adress of the custodial of records so that IF the US government wants to verify the models you have a copy of their birth certificate/drivers license is available for them to view at any normal given business hour. If you own and operate a site in another country do you actually think the US government would go to a foriegn country and check out their model's age? Do you think the US giovernment would shut them down for providing a service that is legal in their country? Come on you can't be that naive.


Some sites put these false disclaimers up so that they can attract American patrons by appealing to them that it is "legal" content when sometimes they are not.


You claim to know alot of webmasters go ask some of them.

 

Azz they do inspections of records even if the webmasters are in other countries. Since this site is a compliant to our USC 2257 law, we can go after them if we want. It is OUR law and we have the right to punish people who don't obey it. Any webmaster found claiming false facts can serve up to five years in prison, doesn't matter where they live. With the revised USC 2257 law, I bet it made it even harder for sites to pull off claiming false records. Yes, countries have different laws pertaining to the rules of 18+. If overseas sites sign up to USC 2257 title 18, I expect them to follow our guidelines and get punished if they don't. The US doesn't have to go to the countries to handle the issue and enforce the rule(That is what the internet is for). Many foreign sites took themselves down because they didn't want to get dealt with.

 

You are joking right? How the hell do you expect the US government to go to another country and enforce a US based law? And send them to 5 years in prison? Our laws are only good within our own borders buddy. Look at international laws. These other foreign countries are self autonomous and do not subject their people to our laws. Do you know how absurd that just sound? Look at Roman Polanski the director that had sex with an underage girl and fled to France to avoid US prosecutionstory here . Did the French government hand him over to the US? NO! It is because he didn't break any French law for having sex with a minor. In France that is consenting age.


Like i said before you start spewing out false information again do your research.

 

You posted somebody's opinion as a factual source? And i ask where do you see it say where a foreign website owner must provide the records or age? You posted a link from somebody else's blog on another forum. That makes as much sense as somebody quoting you on this forum as a factual data source. :roll:
