    Actually, he's of common and distinctive russian subtype (usually attributed to lineage of commoners from old regions of Central Russia) and in terms of THIS subtype he has pleasant features but not bein' sugary-pretty. So calling him 'ugly' is racism :).
    Not to mention that he has real-world 'bad boy'-'russian gangster' look (though i had no idea of his real past, but he has that look of ex-sporstman with fat over muscles) - and we know that a lot of women like that.
