That said, there's no reason for Amber to lie. California law is very clear -- absent a pre-nup, the couple puts in everything the two people made during the time they were married and they split it 50-50. Nothing that either spouse had or earned prior to the marriage is taken into consideration, only what they made while married. There's no children, so there's no child support. It's highly unlikely that there will be spousal support (alimony) considering how short the marriage was and the fact that she is a highly successful film actress.

So an "abuse claim" won't help her in any way EXCEPT to assist her in getting a restraining order. Nothing else. So I tend to believe it.

Thats the best business in hollywood.Marry a rich guy and then take half his money because you let him have sex with you.

be a man, don't hit girls. part of being the stronger sex means not hitting people who can't defend themselves.

It isn't just women. You shouldn't hit anyone ideally but you definitely should not hit anyone that is weaker than you, whether that be men, women, kids, pets, anything.

Best advice would be if the woman hits you. Let her. Let her pound on you until she is done. Then you calmly go outside and call the cops. Point to your face and say "I didn't hit her." In all probability nothing will happen to her. But the next time it happens and you do clock her, you have a precedent of self defense.

My logic on this is simple. Johnny Depp was a teen hearthrob in the 80's with a rep for partying. He bedded women left and right. In his 30 years of being a commonly recognized name, not one woman has ever accused Johnny of anything. Amber was just quoted as saying that "Depp is very loyal when in a relationship, but can also be very possessive. Now reports said a year ago that Depp was unhappy with Amber spending so much time with her female ex, who was also her best friend. Now anyone who's been in that situation knows that you can't be BEST friends with someone you were in love with It doesn't work in the end. So Depp's jealousy did him in. Amber has always been known as a wild child, and one automatically turns their head when a woman marries a man 20 years her senior. So unless I hear some other women come out smelling blood, I'll side with Johnny on this one.

When a woman, or someone weaker hits you, you subdue them, you don't fucking knock them senseless. You should only fight back if you have to. And going by your words, there's absolutely no need to do so.
