Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Agreed, hitting the thanks button is quite easy and not much of a hassle, for registered members.

    if a file has 1500 downloads, most of them come from guests clicking the links, and they can't thank unless they make an account,which could be a hassle for them. I had to re-register a lot of times since the confirm E-mail would never show up in my Inbox, had to register a new E-mail account just for it to work. And that would be a lot of hassle for guests just to say Thanks ;)
