There's so precious little nudity on here now (Celebrity Section) that I don't see how it really matters. Bigger and better known web sites show younger ladies than this website does. Simple fact. :2cent:

 

I said earlier that 18+ would make my job easier, but as my colleague S-Type pointed out, that shouldn't be a prerequisite of changing the rule. We have a good crowd here, and for the most part they act intuitively where conduct is concerned. They think before they post something stupid. But some people are just stupid and they don't think at all. We don't feel it's good policy to proscribe something based on the input of a minority who may display an unacceptable reaction to it. The [banned] content we do proscribe across the board is pretty cut and dry. All we're asking is that people exercise a modicum of tact and integrity when it comes to commenting, and that it be consistent with the content posted.

It's really not all that much to ask.

We've raised the bar on personal conduct for everyone's benefit. We're not trying to take the fun out of phun. The staff isn't stupid, we know the difference between quality entertainment submitted by clever and thoughtful individuals and people who just post redundant crap. There's a distinction. In the long run, making that distinction can only make phun a better site than it already is. People who don't understand that will likely never understand it. Woe be to them. The place will be better without 'em.

Well, the balance has certainly swung since the thread was moved over to here. I must admit to being a bit disillusioned. This topic and some of the posts and admissions people have made here have certainly been an eye opener for me. Perhaps Im naive and thats why I am so surprised by the amount of grown men that have to have their daily dosage of teeny boppers. Perhaps its not naivety that is to blame, perhaps its normalcy. I dont give any thought to teen girls in my day to day.

Time and time again I have heard the argument about the teens not being naked and that some people just like to look at teens in a non sexual manner. While this may hold true for some, I suspect that the majority would have sex with any one of these teens without a second thought if the opportunity came up. This topic is a real revelation for me as a parent of two girls. Something that I know is out there, grown men desiring teens, is much more prevalent than I could have imagined. I can only hope that some day all you adults who think its fine to admire "that tight body" or "that amazing ass" on these teens girls, have daughters of your own and have to face the daunting reality that there are men out there like you, checking your 16 year old daughter out and sizing her up. To all of you who are already parents, I feel sad that you may condone a grown mans desire for a teen girl and not provide the proper amount of stability and security that your daughter needs and deserves.

No argument here has made me change my opinion of whether teen girls need to be on phun. I have heard everything, from there being no sexual desire at all (nonsense), to phun (mainly so the celeb photos secton) dying off without teens being posted, to financial concerns. Every last damn one of them sounds like nothing more than excuses for keeping phun appealing to the masses. This is an adult site. Why the fuck is it to much to ask for us to act like it? Im not saying that every one of the people who voted for the rule to allow teens is fucked, but based on some of the thoughts that have been shared in this and other threads regarding teens, some of them are. Some of you people are downright creepy and scary.

At the end of the day, it doesnt matter. All you teen admirers have what you want and it doesnt matter how much I or anyone else who has issue with it campaigns for the opposite. It appears that us adults that feel we should keep our desires amongst adults are certainly in the minority. A sad state of affairs for me. So, I will try my best to steer clear of the children on the adult board that I frequent. I hope we gain tons of visitors and someone makes a ton of money through this policy. Majesty, I think that your understanding of human nature must be way off of reality. Of course grown men are attracted to teenage girls. It is the nature of the male human animal to spread his seed far and wide with as many females as possible with the most chance of successfully carrying a child to term and surviving to adulthood. Teenage girls are better for this than older women. That being said, humans are better than their biology, because we possess higher level functioning above the rest of the animal kingdom. We can naturally feel attraction to these girls, but understand that we need not act on the impulses of our baser natures. Teen girls are physically mature enough to engage in, and enjoy sexual acts. They are not emotionally stable, or mature enough to be ready for the rest of the baggage that goes along with sex. So I do agree they should be protected from predators who don't seem to understand that.

 

Im not talking about human nature. Im talking about here at phun. There are many practices or ways of thinking that can be cited as examples from our past that are no longer in place. This falls in line with the rest of your post.

So men lust after teens as a natural part of their make up. People also desire to rape, murder and pillage. In fact in our past there has been an awful lot of that. Perhaps then, we should just allow it. After all, its human nature.

You said yourself that we are better than our biology. Is it too much to ask that people live up to that? It seems you agree with my sentiments for the most part, so im curious what your issue is with my point of view.

 

I do agree with you. I just don't understand why you're so surprised by it. For 99% of human history it has been this way and is still the norm in many parts of the world. I think that we should aspire to be better, but progress is slow. To think that it has completely eliminated from our natures because we have made some great strides in the last 60 or 70 years seems unrealistic.

 

I guess im more surprised by how many are open about it.. I know I exists, but it seems, to me at least, to be something you would just keep to yourself behind closed doors. Its the brazen attitude that catches me off guard.

Also, at the end of the day, im a concerned father of 2 girls.

Better to have the rule than leave it up to the discretion [or lack thereof] of members who cannot help posting all of the anal and sexual things they would do to a celeb. Many people may have similar thoughts but keep them to themselves. I IGNORED POSTS on all the guys I could identify and every day new ones pop up.

So because of a few pervert creepsters, once again the whole board will suffer, for the greater good.

No doubt Majesty. You know a simple solution to the problems here on phun would be to charge a $1.00 lifetime membership. Must use a credit card. It would eliminate the inevitable number of members who are not actually 18, and the ones who are would be much more reluctant to comment on underage girls when their information is on file and can be checked by the authorities if they go too far.

 

I anticipate that might have an effect on the quantity of new memberships, which would ultimately affect the financial gains here. At least im sure thats what cayne or some of the reds would argue.

 

16 year olds know when they are exposing themselves! They also have parents or tutors that allow them to be on photoshoots and such.

So, I don't understand all this hypocrisy!!! If you wanna ban something from Phun, ban the voyeur and paparazzi photos, underage or all! Those are intrusive and those are the wrong one's!
