Sorry guys but I'm just going to have a rant... Every single time I try to upload to YSI it fucks up either I get a 'cannot find page' message on IE or 'contains no data' on firefox.... What the fuck is up? I have like 15 gigs of videos I want to share with you lot and I can't do a fucking thing.... Any solutions?

Umm....calm down...take a deep breath. Are you trying to upload large files?
Try deleting the cache from your browser and rebooting the machine. If you have time try uploading a small clip and see if that completes. If a small file doesn't complete then it something other then uploading a large file. You might also want to try some of the different servers. Maybe the ones you have been trying are acting up recently.

Its cool I'm ok, I've managed to upload some vids that I've chopped up into smaller bits that I'll post soon.... I think its a problem with larger file sizes, not sure how to solve it though....

How large were the file sizes you had trouble with? Do you recall which sever numbers you were using at the time. They run from like s1 to s50.

I think Tommy said once before that for some reason the higher numbered servers....upper 40's to low 50's are slower then the rest. Maybe thats part of the reason.

I have the same problems with YSI (well, with both YSI: yousend & youshare), after an hour or more of waiting a "Document contains no data" appeared and left my with an idiot face. So i decided to stop using YSI and try to chop files in smaller ones and place them in RS. It's not the best idea but, at least, it will long more than 7 days and i won't have to be all day checking video vault looking for answers to my thread

Yeah, I'd have to agree. YSI blows. I am now in my second week of attempting to upload a 900 MB vid. I finally had to split it into two zips instead of one big zip. Naturally, I leave it on overnight while I sleep. I hope to have part two ready in the morning but I am doubtful.

And now today, downloading YSI sucks. It's taking two to three hours to get 200-300 MB vids. Yesterday, I was downloading these sizes within fifteen minutes. Sigh.

Are the files you downloading on the higher numbered servers? s40 - s50? Someone has said those servers are some of the slowers ones.

I've noticed YSI's download speeds are slow today, too.

On ADSL, I'm limited to 386k upload, and it takes forever, but they generally complete if I start them before going to bed and letting them go overnight. On my office T1, they blaze up with no problem. Usually.

What else ya gonna do? A good vid starts at 200Meg for a small one. R/S sucks for anything requiring more than three or four chunks, cuz most people can't change their IPs and have to wait an hour between downloads.
