  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I was just wondering about YouSendIt, i keep trying to upload a 160mb file to send to ppl who've requested the link from my post and it seems to take for ever! Does anybody know how long a 160mb file takes to up load? If not then is their anything quicker so i can distribute the file to those who want it?

What sort of connection do you have?

My upload speed is limited to 128kbps so a file that size would take me about 5 hours.

Also note the server you are uploading to, if it's a low number such as s8 the upload is quicker for some reason, but if you get s50 be prepared to wait a while.

It was posted here a while ago and in my own personal experience it holds true...

    http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=22849

If i'm uploading to one of the higher servers often i'll get cut off, even for smaller files. But if I get one of the lower numbers the upload usually works without a problem.

Check the email address where you sent the file, if the file uploaded then there should be a link.
