  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

WTF?

    How come BEFORE I login I can see thumbnails in threads....but after I log in all's I get is text hyperlinks? I'm using firefox and would really like to become a more active member of this forum...but this is pissing me off.

    In the phun forum:

    Assuming that you have your PC in correct security settings, click User CP > Edit Options. Check the Show Images box under the Thread Display Options. Click Save Changes button.

    as for Firefox:

    # Type 'about:config' in the url address bar.
    # A whole pile of information will appear in the browser window. (It's an alphabetical list).
    # Look for 'network.http.sendRefererHeader'
    # By default, this should be set at 2
    # If it is set to 0 - which disables sending referrers - right click it, select 'Modify' and enter 2 as the value.
    # If that doesn't work, try a value of 1
