Why has this forum been taken over by Jenette Mccurdy threads?

Just curious...because she ain't that hot.

 

I don't get it either. It's that fanboy of her who feel the need to post every single pic of her from the social networks, most of them not even worth posting at all.

edit: For what it's worth, very not so interesting text incoming: it might not be a fanboy. This page isn't that much of a "secret" or "insider place" I reckon. And when threads like this one don't even get ar eply it's pretty obvious that my ego is not part of the equation and the content is definitely not a representation of who is hot or not. I mean sometimes there are the most ridiculous bland scenes/photoshoots/candids discussed (e.g., the favorite of last week: Miley), it's pretty clear that a whole armada of intrahwebs "fans" invade the forum to keep the topics up top.

Btw, Kempt why haven't you posted much on Kristen lately? I remember you made threads on her every other day like a month ago or so?

So let me get this straight. We have one guy who starts a thread because the constant comments, saying the exact same thing, in Jennette threads wasnt good enough. We got another guy who thinks hes the only one who has ever come across subjects that he isnt interested in. Finally, we have a guy who is mad because his thread didnt get any replies and believes it to be some kind of conspiracy to keep certain threads at the top. Is that about right?

 

for sure she's better than Kristen Stewart

 

cos she's filming in Berlin and we don't get many candids of her lately. There are still some snaps of her but bad quality and not worth posting imo. I don't post every single pic of her like other people do. If I have to post every single fan pic of Kristen I would flood the forum with her pics.

Though I just posted something new with Kristen.

 

The remark about my own thread obviously meant to be sarcastic. I truly do not care if I get 1 "Thanks" or 100.
The conspiracy part is real as I witnessed the discussions for some sort of coordinated effort of pics and subsequent feedback myself in an irc chatroom like 5 years ago. Also, using "conspiracy" to label a statement in a negative light is somewhat of a moot point nowadays, come on.

 

honestly im a big fan of hers , but I REALY think that maybie each celeb should just get one thread for social media pics and put all of them in that one thread
maybie we could have a celeb social media section on the board , make it so no one can add threads a mod makes a thread for each requested celeb and that celebs social medias pics are added there?
so people can post in the threads but not start new ones so we don't end up with multiples threads for that one celeb

An irc from 5 years ago is relevant how? You pointed to the Miley thread as an example. Terrible choice in my opinion. That thread was kept at the top mostly by people bashing her, not by her fans rallying together to keep it there.

Truth be told, I couldnt really understand your whole post or what point you were attempting to make. I know that you certainly linked your own thread and made note of the fact it didnt get any comments.

 

You are not the first to mention this. As it stands, this is our current practice. I dont see a flooding of anything, personally. The threads are being created in the proper section, which doesnt move nearly as fast as some of the other sections. If the section moved quicker, I think the amount of Jennette threads would go largely unnoticed, except by fans, who im sure are grateful.

 

I agree its not realy a flooding problem various celebs for w/e reason eb and flow in thread count . for me it would just seem a simpler solution for searchability

hell honestly I think ti would be an ideal solution for the entire celeb photos side of things ,
make it celeb photos , give each celeb two threads like nude/ non nude or pro/ social media
and then all celebs would get there pictures there
then the celeb extra could be the place for celeb discussion and comments etc so that photo threads don't get cluttered with discussions

 

Speaking for myself, I wouldnt vote in favor of that. Allowing comments is what sets us apart from some of the other forums out there. I find some of the commentary entertaining, insightful and thought provoking. A lot of that is spur of the moment. Designating that comments be kept somewhere else certainly cuts down on the spontaneity. That would be a loss for me. As long as it doesnt become hostile or stray too far off course, im fine with it.

Yes, with this setup, things do have a capacity to spiral out of control. Thats what the reds are here for. I think that over my time as a member here the moderation crew has done a pretty good job in preventing chaos. There is nothing done on this board that cant be undone. Still, I do wish that some of the topics that go too far astray for the cp would find their way to another appropriate section and continue.

 

with or without comments im still in favor of the idea of each celeb having one thread or maybie two threads so that rather than searching through 50000 threads for that pic of w/e celeb you just find their thread

the finer points could be ironed out more but the general concept is sound

Not "constant". I madeTWO comments before because it seems like someone either has an unhealthy obsession with her, or someone has motives to keep her relevant. I also call them as I see them. Enough people have thanked my original post so you can see that I am not the only one that sees what is going on. Not looking to keep this going, I just hate to see the forum dragged down by what it has turned into.
