Wha'ts with the 502 Gateway error????

I've been getting this message for over a month now. I can't even access the forum issues thread. Will this ever get fixed?

 

Got that nasty error too, its really annoying.

 

Look to issues on your ends gentlemen. I haven't seen, nor have I heard of a gateway issue in a month or better.

 

I haven't seen the issue either, but they could be on a different sever than us, besides they had to tweek some settings to fix the email issue, so maybe they experienced an out during that

 

i get that too about once a month. i usually just clear my browsing history and restart and that works every time.

i've been getting it too recently (for a couple weeks i think?). i'll try to diagnose things on my end with wireshark next time and see if i can figure anything out. fwiw, i'm using Win7 w/ firefox (and a bunch of firefox extensions).

I get it in Chrome, but only when I don't close browser windows for awhile. If I close all Chrome windows and reopen, it's fine again.

 

Sounds like a (and I may be wrong) cache issue bro. Clear out your stuff as opposed to restarting the browser, and you may be good to go. I guess that might apply to all those with issues as well.

Clearing cache on Chrome takes forever. Closing and reopening takes seconds ... and it reopens previously open windows on restart -- without losing cached content either. I think it's more a memory issue with Chrome than cache.

 

I don't see why the browser should be blamed when I only get this error message when I come on here and no where else. Besides my cache has already been cleared numerous times since this started happening.

 

At the suggestion of Capster from ShareNXS, I have contacted RCN about the errors. I'll keep you informed of my communications and any corrections that can be made.

I have the same error and its quite annoying because its difficult to scrutinize in which threads that you have already posted is there any activity.
