  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    What you thinking about image upload to some image host direct from forum? I`m owner of one forum in my country and also I`m member of few other forums and for me is very big problem when I must visit few sites to post some video on forum (forum, image host, file/video host) and after some search I fixed this on my forum and also on few other forums (after post like this) and I used turboimagehost.com VBulletin MOD (http://www.turboimagehost.com/vbulletin.zip) and now I can direct upload up to 5 images to this image host (they allow adult images) and all working on this way (screenshots from turboimagehost.com site):

    I don`t must visit some other site and after upload IMG code is auto inserted to post...for me this look like nice solution for all members...

    What you thinking?

    Hehe, not problem, I only thinking that this is better and if you want to upload more than 5 images you can easy repeat process and on imagehaven I thinking that you must copy IMG code for all images and every time you must visit this site...but ok, this is what I thinking and if you don`t like this idea simple don`t use this...
    One more thing, on this way you can use this image host and also other images hosts like imagehaven if somebody more like imagehaven or some other...

    Also, we don`t talking here about advertising, I asked is this better than visit 3 sites every time for post movie here on forum...also, you can use some other host on this way if they offer it...

    What you have there is a pretty good idea sexc, but there are a few things hindering the use of such a function:
    1) we have a list of approved imagehost only
    2) because of the size of our forum all hosters will ban us if we use this feature to hotlink the images
    3) our members here already have established their own preference to which imagehoster they prefer
    4)5 images is quite frankly just not enough to upload at a time and to have to individually select each image is a hassle. most like to just upload a zip file of all the images and getting a bunch of codes to copy and paste.

    However i do see an application for your idea in the celeb forum since alot of the posts there contain only a few pics. I'll run it by the admin/mods.

    1) you can test and add more hosts to list, again I must back to turboimagehost.com because this image host is bigger than most of image host on your list (now I checked and this site rank is under 2000 on alexa.com)
    2) if you thinking about hotlinking large image (not thumbnail) on most hosts that is not allowed only because users changing IMG codes (on almost all images link back to image host removed) and free image hosts from that users/forums can`t earn nothing from ads...
    4) yes, I understand! Because turboimagehost.com allow image upload on this way, also I know that they allow adult images, on first page they allow up to 10 images upload, you can contact them and I thinking that they can enable .zip upload and also flash upload (multiple select) and after all auto IMG code insert for large forum like this...
