  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I did some searching, but theres so many YSI posts, I cant find what Im looking for.

    To upload a vid to YSI, do I just 'send it' without putting in a email address to upload it? Will that take me to a page that I can link via PM?

    In other words, how can I send it via PM, instead of sending to an email address?

    send the link to your own e-mail address when you upload it
    then, after you upload, the link is sent to your e-mail address.
    take this link and PM it to the deserving members who requested your uploaded video.

    you don't even need to enter an email address, just make a note of the link once its uploaded

    If you're lucky. Sometimes the upload will finish but when the page goes to refresh you get a 'page not found' error and then all your hard work will be for nought. I always put in an email address just in case, not my own of course ;) Just one of my hotmail/yahoo spam accounts I use when I sign up for forums.

    yeah, I would have it e-mailed just to be safe, that way you always have the link stored somewhere for later use.
