Mostly all the sites take you IP address anyways. I would like to think the law enfocement deal is only for child pornagraphy and not copyrighted material otherwise nobody would upload anything

I agree. Lets give him the benefit of the doubt and give it a try. Pop-ups are so common nowdays that if you don't have a pop-up blocker you are asking for trouble anyways.

 

Sorry I have a very effective pop up blocker so I see none of these problems

I will however the last times I've suggested an alternative to rapidshare (damn I have this service so much) you've asked why I haven't tried it out myself.

 

Not trying to shoot you down for your ideas, but the vid host you suggested it's way too much work to dl a vid and this site I do not mind a occasinal pop up but not for porn thats all. On ff it's fine but when I use IE the pop ups get ridiculous. So don't take it the wrong way, I was making a suggestion.

I especially like that you can upload 12 pics at once, it seems faster than imagevenue and you don't have to do so much copy paste work since it serves all you need.

yes, i've been using it on-and-off for the past 2 weeks (when imagevenue or joe's uploader are acting up). i used it in all my threads today. quite fast in opening thumbs but slow in upload. oh, and it generates smaller thumbs. overall rating: Good.

That's basically the same as rapidshare so it's not a huge deal. If you've been doing it on RS then this shouldn't be any different.

 

I uploaded 40 rar on this link; speed is like on others, works good.
I lost 6 files whose given links get an error (files about 5-7Mo perhaps cause everybody was connected at home).
Anyone tested it more longer ?

 

Just wanted to say thanks to the people that have tested the site - have been away from my computer in some days so haven't participated in the discussion or testing.

What do the moderators think. Shall we use this instead of rapidshare or make people have the choice by adding this to the how to post properly thread

 

If you want to use it's fine, a couple of people tried it. But like anything else it's going to be hard to get people to use it since everyone has been using rapidshare.
