  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    ok srry 4 starting another thread, but i have a problem unrelated to codecs now. i have a few movies im trying to up and like it looks like its uploading and i get an error saying the document contains no data. i got this for both rapidshare and you send it. wtf? i've tried many times, uploading same file, but to no avail

    try putting it in a rar file first. sometimes loose folders get lost in the upload hence your problem. For winrar to rar your files for uploading go to the general section and download my winrar and use it.

    I'm looking around this board trying to get a run-down on the process of sharing movies. I get that I need to upload to YSI, etc. but can someone please instruct a noob on how I share with the board? Do I just post the movie title, or pics and then solicit replies and then send to those people's email addresses? Thanks in advance for the help.

    Using Rapidshare, is there a maximum size to try and upload. I tried uploading a video split into 4 sections. The first 3 were 49MB and the last was the balance of about 30MB. Only the last section loaded. Should I upload in smaller sizes like 40MB or 45MB? I'm using Firefox.

    RS has a max of 50megs, now here is where it get's tricky. You may think your file is 49megs but probably it's more like 54megs. When you split a file try splitting aroud 43 - 45 megs in order to make it fit.

    dont make the files exactly 50mb make it 48mb. and dont browse while uploading. should work.
