Too many pics not opening up

I just want to sound ungreatful or a bitcher/ complainer however it seems like way too many posts have thumbs that are red x's or the thumbs show and then don't open when you click them. It just seems stupid to make a post and then several images don't show up. When I like a girl, I usually like to have all the pics in a gallery. YOu all know if there is a 50 pic set. The photography in general will have a handful of awesome pics. And seems like a great deal of the ones that dont open up are or could be the best pics of the set.

Any way to start getting some quality control when it comes to posting? Are others getting annoyed at this as well. Maybe make a zip mandatory? I know it's stupid to zip 20 pics however if someone doesn't take the time to post all the pics correctly, then it defeats the purpose of what we are all here for anyway.

It will never get to the stage where it is compulsory to post a zip with any pics, if someone wants to go that far, that is fine but it isn't and shouldn't be an expectation. Imagevenue has had some issues of late, maybe that is a reason for some pics not showing up. It is disapointing to see threads where comments are 'I can't see pic 47' or 'pics 1,7 and 11 aren't working,fix them' without a thanks for the other 40 pics that do work. People should be grateful for what is posted.

 

Speaking of Imagevenue, one can see immediately if there is a problem (red X) with the pic he has posted. If so, he just has to upload the image again (and maybe again and again and again). I found uploading much easier with Keepmyfile.

 

I agree, its so annoying when you get half red X's and its like the best shots sometimes..err lol.

 

its usually a problem with the host,not the person posting the thread.Remember,these file hosts are free,some downtime is to be expected

Websites have technical difficulties, so deal with it. You aren't going to die if you miss a couple more shots of some chick's boobies. So as Kieks said, just be grateful for what's posted!

 

uploading Zip's to keepmyfile is much better than Imagevenue no matter how little a pic set I uploaded a zip with 2 pics and its faster and works 100% of the time

 

I gave up on imagevenue,started using gigashare.Havent tried keepmyfile yet

 

i've seen a lot of people having issues with imagevenue, so far the uploads have worked well for me and have lasted quite a bit on most of my threads. what type of problems are other members having?

 

I am Greatly greatful, I promise. I always reply with "I appreciate the time you took to upload these, however could you please fix the broken ones". And I sincerely do appreciate it. I've learned of alot of new girls by these posts.

I think the problem lies in the program people are using to upload alot of pics. I use imagevenue.com religiously with no problems. However it's only when I do 5 at a time. I just did about 40 pics in my Crystal Klein random post.

Also, I check over to make sure no one had any problems however would and have fixed things when they were politely pointed out.

 

Its the imagehost. Imagevenue is effing up the past couple of weeks so im using another image host. I tried to use imagevenue again yesterday and the first comment I got is 'nice set but can u fix pic #4?". So im off imagevenue till they fix their servers. ;-)

 

When I was using ImageUploader, which doesn't seem to work anymore, I allways checked the preview tab. When an image didn't show there, I made a note of it and uploaded those images again, hopefully to a different server, and adjusted the link in notepad. It seemed to allways be 1 or 2 pics in a set that were both on 1 server that didn't show up. Since the temporary replacement program SharpUploader does not have the preview feature, I normally will add a zip/rar file if the set has 60 or more pics. I figure if Imagevenue doesn't show a picture, most people aren't going to miss one or two. The serious collectors who want entire sets with original filenames will normally download the zip/rar files anyway.

 

I can see all but imagehigh, that host I can't see jack.

 

i can't connect to mediaupload, which is quite a disappointment because it looks like sandino is putting some quality stuff up on there

 

I'm with Tommy, can't see imagehigh at all. Had to rehost my own sig, and all I get with most other sigs now are red x's. Imagehigh has lost me.

 

MediaUpload works fine now. Rock on
