  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    a little late, sorry for ressurecting, but... therés probably only one who can comment this - me ;)

    thanks for asking, i must admit that it´s appreciated after more than two years of trying to provide fun and a little "work" on keeping the forum clean.

    sure he does - and if only in repect to those who send some ;)

    anyways:

    no, no vacation.

    @first: there are some private issues which decrease my spare time, even for such a great place like Phun.

    but there are also some Phun-based reasons, a few developments who are far away from getting my applause.

    i like the idea of phun being an literally open-for-everyone - forum, but i´d like to see some easy-to-be-handled restrictions to embank at least some of all that spam occuring lately before its flooding the forum. it´s tiering to see people playing games with Phun and all you can do is chasing these guys instead of just keeping them out.

    this and some other reasons, mostly dealing with my personal view on how things ought to be handled here vs the view of others on them led me to withdrawal. that´s democracy ;)
    no big issue, there´s nothing i had exclusive access to or couldn´t be done by someone else.

    keep on having phun!
