  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Uh oh.

You may want to think twice before you send that Snapchat.

A giant database of Snapchat photos and videos is reportedly being released by hackers who claim they have been collecting the files for years, according to Business Insider.

At least 100,000 photos belonging to private individuals are being downloaded by users of 4chan. A giant database will allow you to search Snapchat users by name.

According to the New York Times, the photos appear to have come from people using Snapsaved, a third-party app that allows you to store photos from Snapchat that would normally self-destruct after a set time limit.

The leak is being dubbed "The Snappening."

Earlier this year, hackers published the account names and phone numbers of 4.6 million Snapchat users online in an attempt to pressure the mobile application to improve its security.

I hope not. Most reports I've seen say there is a bunch of underage stuff. No thank you.

According to a post on the other Phun thread few if any of these are photos of celebs and they include things like Graduations and weddings and baby's first steps. So if you're waiting for that Taylor Swift/ Victoria's Secret all girl orgy I wouldn't hold my breath.
