The Fappening Discussion V2 (Listen This Time)

As the leaks come out, there should be a good place to discuss it.


We've gone over a lot of this already, but as a reminder that I'm going to start linking to, keep the following in mind before posting in this thread:

Stay civil. If you are skeptical of all this or of what somebody thinks or claims to know, fine. If you feel people are wrongly skeptical of your posts, I get that as well. But, no personal attacks. Debate the ideas and facts, but avoid attacking the person or getting nasty about it.
Search the thread and/or read previous posts before asking a question.
Stop throwing out random names and asking if they have nudes. Everybody has some celeb they'd like to see, but that won't make them appear. Only ask about names if you have a specific reason to.
Don't ask where to find pics of underage celebs or those who were borderline enough that we decided they shouldn't be posted at Phun.
Don't ask/beg people to leak pics. Things will leak if/when they leak and Phun isn't the best place for original leaks anyway.

*Stay away from actual trading here. The owner has decided that Q&A and discussion is fine, but it should stop short of trading, selling, and original leaking, etc.

 

I dont mind the start of a new thread since there are an interest in the subject still. What i will say is that dont Point out a specific moderator or admin as giving the thread their blessing if they havent done so. GB has not given his blessing or courtesy to this thread so that part has been edited out.

 

Lets hope this one doesn't turn into a :stooges: fest.

Fappening is pretty much done/over. It was really just one guy who was doing the majority of the leaks since the beginning with Jlaw, now apparently he dumped 90% of what he had, rest is junk no one cares about. He was also the only one who leaked full sets, as opposed to those other few leakers who just dumped specific pics and kept the rest. I guess he loved the attention he was getting with all this but now partys over, unless ofcourse he manages to buy/trade new ones.

 

Lately they've been leaking non-nude stuff. Now they leaked male celeb. I just shows how little they have left.

 

That is so clearly false and a complete and outright lie, it's hilarious. There is clearly more that "just one guy" that for anyone to say otherwise is just completely out of EVERY loop that has ever been made or literally just woke up 10 minutes ago from a 3 month hang over. :spanka:

 

I'm in the they are running dry camp, but people refuse to be realistic so I will just be unrealistic as well and assume 99% of celebrities got hacked. Back on board choo, choo.

Yeah not all the pictures are naked...obviously they didnt upload only naked stuff on icloud....they were waiting for those pictures.
So i guess...IG pictures will be coming out for a long time.

 

There could be a whole new wave of stuff leaked tomorrow for all WE know.

I'm sure there are various reasons why people record naked pics and vids of themselves, but really? She thinks her bf won't stay interested unless she sends him her personal "porn"? Unless women are constantly throwing themselves at you, you don't run around on JLaw, right?

 

kreyszig, this is bullshit with Jennifer! This is less about sex crimes than about how we place so much of value in "the cloud." I think of her less now and it's not the leaks that did it. It's her reaction to it. Why don't she use her talent to educate instead of "oh, boo hoo, everybody seen my naked bits so they're committing sex crimes against me!" She uploaded the pics. Nobody forced her to do that. There have been PLENTY of warnings about what you upload to the cloud is not secure. Don't think MS, G00gle or Apple can look into you files that you uploaded, think again. Her pics will be on the web FOREVER no matter what she or the FB1 tries to do. If I uploaded private pics of me and the site gets hacked, that's the price I pay for putting my trust in the cloud.

 

That statement makes her sound like a complete idiot and she will be made fun of for it for a very long time. Even though she sent those pictures to Nicholas Hoult I'm sure he was still looking at porn anyway.

If any of you had been in chatovod or vola when the leaks were happening you'd know that it isn't just one person. It appears there were numerous hackers over a number of years, who have accumulated a lot of celebs and traded between each other. Other people have then bought in and got some of the content and traded amongst other lower tier guys, and it is the lower tier people who are doing all of the leaking.

The higher up guys didn't want it coming out to start with so that they could keep hacking and keep it quiet.

A lot of leaks are now coming from people who are buying the sets and just leaking them, and a few through other means(one guy scammed a trader out of the Cat Deeley set by saying he would give him contact with traders higher up the food chain in return for it).

I'm not sure what content is left out there, I imagine there is a lot, although I can't see all of it being shared. There has been talk that Helen Flanagan was hacked but that only the higher up traders have her, meaning she isn't getting leaked anytime soon.

 

^ Everybody knows there were numerous(although few credible anon-ib posts before it went down claimed the number to be "just over 90", exact quote) hackers involved, but we were talking about leakers who are running dry.

It probably helped. Who knows when they gained access to whose account. In Elizabeth Winstead's case that clearly must have been years ago.
