  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I notice a number of forums are using the tapatalk app as detailed here http://tapatalk.com/ : more of us are accessing the forum through smart phones - is it something that could be looked at ? The app providers suggest it's free for forum owners, but others would know better I am sure. Regards

    Thanks riv, there are other apps but this seems most popular. One of it's features is to post images direct from the phone, but that prob wouldn't work here

    It'd work if they allowed even just one image attachment to your post. The trouble is none of the allowed hosts work on the iPhone, so it'd be the only solution.

    don´t even want to try to watch 4000px-pics or 1080i-vids on a smartphone...

    nevertheless. will have a look into that and (try to) talk with Cayne about it.
    i for one am pretty old-fashioned (un-smart in this cntext) - just need a phone for making calls, but... at least "community-wise" (means General Forum) this could be a step into the right direction.
