Some Questions about your spam politics!

Hello,

I'm an active poster on the video mania forum.

I'd like to know if you're aware that many people uses it like a spam source.

They post the same videos again and again, and post response with a different login, but the same IP address!

I'd like to know if you want to make something against this.

I'd also like to know why you delete my thread without telling me the reason.

If you want me to go away, don't worry, I will quit without reason from you, it just will give me the reason!

I wasn't aware, feel free to post examples of this in the 'Forum Issues' thread regarding reposts, we will trash them.

Regarding your threads, I personally don't recall trashing any, only a couple of yours have been out of the last 20 or so. The reason I can see is that your initial post is just text, and the videos themselves are further down the page. If a Mod clicks on a thread and doesn't see screencaps and a link (in the case of the Video forum) then we normally trash. Only other reason could be that some of the content is member's and full scenes. The majority of your threads have been untouched.

And on a personal level, I trash at least a dozen threads a day, that doesn't include the other mods. If we were sending PM's out to everyone, then we'd have hardly any time to do anything else.

And lastly, we don't want you to go away. Your contributions are important and hopefully appreciated by those who view and download them.

Go for it, I can't see there being a problem. From looking at the trashed version, it looked ok, description, screencaps. Just that the first post had 2 sentences or so and no action. I rarely venture into the Vault and don't DL any clips, so don't respond to many posts, but hopefully you get some positive feedback for your posts.

If there are any issues with your threads, I'll drop you a PM to let you know, but they look ok as far as I can see.

It is what I call a "Spammer", too many people post links and response with another ID. I know you can't do anything, but it becomes a large problem!

Unless you register IP address!

 

Datsfowl is certainly no spammer

There's a few people with few posts who replied, but it isn't jamming up the thread, if anything, it raises it to the top so the poster gets more credit, so that one isn't really a problem. And there's no chance of Fowl re-upping for leechers

We'll keep an eye on what you said though, it's a good point.

atias3; Fowls cool, don't worry about his stuff, he's about the least of the worries. He wouldn't have gotten to almost 10,000 posts if he wasn't.
