some probs i am having

i am having a few probs...to start with in threds if someone posts a link i have to right click it to copy and paste it in the url to go to it cause if i just left click it the page freez for about 1min is this some kind of a virus? i have virus systems nortens antivirus ,nortens fierwall, microsoft antispyware and ad-aware se personal. and non of of them can seem to fix this. can anyone help? also when i copy and paste it and it come up the picture is small and i cant click on it to make it bigger!

 

Have you tried editing your usercp? there is a allow link function. maybe you didn't have it turned on.

go to the top left and look at the USERCP button and click on it. then look on the left for edit options and click on that. then look for a box that you can check that would allow links to the page.

 

I'm uninstalling my Norton Internet Security after finding this to a major problem with viewing links etc. I'm gunna try Zone Alarm pro on advice from no-sweat and i'm gunna give McAfee a go too to see what I like best!

And you've tried the hole Norton troubleshooting? Mmmmmmmm........trying to think of what else you can do!
I must admit now i've uninstalled norton my PC runs better and I can see the images etc. I installed McAfee ant its quallity! Do you use AOL, IE or FireFox? Whichever one you use try searching this forum to see what come up, I know there is info around here for all sorts of problems. Good luck and report back. It took me about 2 weeks to solve my problem, it was just a case of trial and error, i'm sure you'll get there dude!

 

Norton is one of the worst anti-virus programs out there, McAffee or Kaspersky anti-virus programs are the top rated anti-virus. I use Kaspersky and I have not had a problem, and the only firewall I use is the one with sp2.
