I tried to weed out the bad YSI servers but havn't much of a problem with it
I will however try the rar password method on a repost only downfall is 14 rar's to U/L

p.s. Do u know if FileHD is any good?, I tried 1 thread and the d/l's are ok
60MB U/L limit, no d/l limit, files are good for 365 days, any file type

 

File HD will be good until they get too much traffic and catch on. Gigashare was the same way until they caught on. Yes I know about filecloud and filefront. So for now lets stick to rapid share, giga share, q file.

Sex Uploader looks real nice, I will try it. Filefront has been cool so far, but at only 4 downloads in so who knows yet.

 

Starting my reply by saying, sorry if this is going to offend anyone.

I hate to see any password protected RS file, or "PM me for the last RAR". If you are going to share the Phun, then share it. Why a poster would make anyone ask for link, to free, unlimited downloads is beyond me? I just don't get it. But that is free Bandwidth!

I do understand your points. Why don't we just make the passwords for any RAR's "www.phun.org", so if anyone steals the post for another board, the password will still point them to this great forum. Say "regular RAR password" in the post. Regulars will know the password. Global PM to all members, telling them the password, not posted on the open forum by a mod.

If you are ripping and encoding yourself, I'd make the password tighter than Fort Knox.

BTW, I wish I could figure out the DVD rip, the whole first 3 pages would be filled with Fire99 posts! LOL.

 

Oh, and I forgot to mention. I don't want to make porn that easy for little children to have access to. Will it stop a minor from getting it? No. But most kids usually will not have much to contribute or will get frustrated and give up.

DVD ripping and converting is easy. I use DVD shrink to decrypt and rip the file onto the hard drive. After that, just use any video converting/encoding program (Google it and you will come up with many others.) such as Dr.DivX and WAH-LA! You can now share porn with complete strangers!

I downloaded off of there yesterday with a link out of Datsfowl on going post in General forum. Quick download but had to wait a bit for the link some crazy pick a server then join a queue system.

 

I tried uploading twice (FF & IE). Both failed - "Document contains no data"

is today the ysi-link-blocked day? know of three threads fom yesterday wich are blocked already....
if only there´s a way to get behind the page of ysi where "unauthorized" blocking is possible...
what i triued: if you don´t wait for automatic download starting but click through the pages there comes a creen where you can click on "click here if automatic download doesn´t start" you´ll get the "real" ysi-link without the option to "block", but this one cannot be sent cause after 60 seconds you´ll have to use the ysi-generated link, and i guess it won´t be possible to share the link and let the dl´ders start their dl within a minute after sending...

 

Filefront is showing me love so far. I'm currently sharing 2 vids (one 185mb the other 215mb).

**FILEFRONT NOTES**

1. you have to sign up.

2. it tracks the upload speed. I average about 415kps.

3. it stores your files and allows you to manage them quite nicely.

4. it tracks the amount of bandwidth your downloads have used. (my files have been download 9 times so far taking up about 1.5 gigs of bandwidth.

5. the download speeds have been good so far.

6. you can upload up to 1 gig.

 

I never got that just the usual email address required. And no sign up is need to download. By default all files are open to everyone to download but you can restrict this to members of your choosing.

 

Damn, wild fluctuations in DL speed, not as slow as megaupload without DL manager but jumpin around, maybe because its a tiny file.

Anywho, somebody else try that 3 meg file and tell me what you think. Also, it is not new, and I don't know its its been posted in the small vids thread, but if you haven't seen it, it is great full screen with your speakers cranked up.
