Signature Rules...

"THE RIVER" PM me and told me to change the size of my sig and I did. He then said thanks. Now (the same sig) has been taken down by an admin. There was a message in my sig area saying "Follow the sig rules"

My question is ..what are the sig rules?

 

What do you mean? That I can't have a link to my site? Or Can you send me a link to the rules?

 

I don't mean to be rude but why can't new guys actually take a look around rather than always compain in new threads.

Sigs must be 450x150 and not hosted on any imagehosts that conatain any malware whatsoever.

I do own the site that was in my sig. Maybe the size WITH ADDITIONAL TEXT was too big. I will redue the sig without the text and see what happends! Thanks for that link!

Is it ok to hide pay pr click adds and other money making stuff in your signature like zaukazal does? i mean come on the only reason he is posting so much is to make money of it. Also it makes threads load slower wich is rather annoying

You will only see 2 smileys in his sig so look it up in modcp

how do you feel about master g as an image host? i used it for the first time 2 weeks ago and got temporary suspended for a week. My sig size was 250x188. Was is because i used master g?

why not just keep it simply, text only? it de-clutters the page.

 

you were warned back in september 24th about sig size, yet you failed again. so what else would you expect us to do? Next time you use an oversized sig you will get a permanent ban.

Because some people here like image based sig because they are not trying to sell something.

 

I'm brand new. How's this sig. It's taken me forever to finally get the image host to post the image, rather than a thumbnail. Noob.
