  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    OK, some results after a personal test.
    Upload speeds very good (almost 200KB/s)
    Download speeds - good (avg 125kb/s)

    Some bugs:
    - had a 245 MB file fail uploading about halfway through.
    - after countdown, tried downloading a .rar file I had uploaded, but got a Temporary Service Error (was fine later)
    - after countdown, tried downloading a 50MB wmv file I had uploaded, but got an html file instead (205KB in size).

    Question:
    How long is link retention after the countdown? May explain the errors I got if the link doesn't last long.

    Suggestions:
    - If downloading a video link, click on the "free download" link after countdown will autoplay video in browser? You may want to add a "right click, the save as" message below the download link.
    - Clip Manager is exactly the same as the Gallery Manager. That works fine to some, but if you don't have a thumbnail corresponding to the clips/rars files, could be cumbersome. Basically, you pretty much need to attach an image to your clips/rars to keep some semblance of organization. (name of file does show up if you highlight the file)
    I prefer a list style with the filenames easily seen.

    Not exactly the best looking UI. :) But hell, if it works more solidly than the current crop of filehosts, I'm in like Flynn. :thumbs:
