  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I think i have had problems with the search for a while in heer. Many posts i have made just don't register on the search at all. I have typed in the exact event and not found the post.

Just there i was searching for Sienna Miller Independent Spirit Awards and got no results but i was sure i saw something before so i shortened it to Sienna Miller Independent Spirit. Still nothing. So i shortened it to Sienna Miller Spirit and got the result i was looking for.

My question, will more words in the search lessen your chances of finding a thread? I always tried to include the full title to make it as easy as possible.

certain "tag" words work best, as you did in your last search.

you can search for the key words in title only or inside posts only. the default is posts only so it looks for all the words you entered in the search and if all those words are not in the post(s) it will not come up. If you know all those words are in the title then search it by title and it should come up.

    What about for future searches.

I was looking for Sienna Miller independent spirit awards and searched it 3 times.

Sienna Miller is obvious but even though all three of the other words appear in the thread title it only appeared on the last search. This doesnt help searching to avoid reposts.

You try the advanced search, Jamms? I only really create celeb threads so I usually key in the celeb's first name or or surname and one word from the vents or whatever, and that usually finds it if it's been posted.

Put a + between the search terms, that helps to.

    e.g. sienna+miller+spirit

if this is the thread in question:
    http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=235789

it didn't show up using the keyword "independent" because the title uses the word "independent's"

that's why once that keyword was omitted, the search picked it up
