    she's incredibly hot for her age and that's all that really matters here .
    but I do kinda chuckle at the idea of yet another woman who declares
    how independent she is while coincidentally marrying an insanely

    She grew up rich. Her father was an oil company executive in Mexico, and was also the owner of a construction equipment company. Her mom was a famous opera singer and talent scout.

    Her dad bought her a tiger when she was a kid.

    Her dad is a Lebanese oil manager. So Salma is only half Mexican, the other half is Lebanese. Yes she did grow up rich. As I remember it back in the early '90s, she was cut off by her family for a few years so that she would return home to Mexico instead of staying in California.
    Sort of a " if you don't knock off this foolishness we're not paying for it". On the other hand, she was already a Mexican telenovela actress.
