  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    hi all.

server speed/response seems great and stable well done :D

    1)

Have 1 only specific question for sexy videos rules specific rule #9.

This applies to all mega-threads and all members.

Want to make all clear 100%.

    Example

I post 3 clips from a sit3 lets name it in this example sitename1

After 1 month post another three (3) clips from the same site e.g. sitename1 in the same megathread

However there is a problem to this rule as we can not remember EXACTLY the post count after 1 month period of a specific site....probably other members have this issue.

Is rule #9 http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=590423 affected to this example or only applies for a 24-hr period ????

Makes difficult to cover if thread is big etc.

Well post only from 1-2 sit3s rest are splitted scenes however it's good to clear that one specific rule....

Don't have this problem now but would like to know for future posts here.

    2)

Also for hotlinking can we use for example pixhost.to and for thumbnails use 1 out of the 4 image approved host(s) ??

Probably answer is YES to post a bigger image from not approved host as long as post contains thumbs from the specific img host that phun allows
but want to clear that issue as well.

    thxxx for reply :)

    as for 2) - no.

as for 1) - rule sounds pretty clear to me.... max. 5 of those vids in one thread (although many here would prefer an individual thread for each vid - makes a "search" much more convenient, for example).

    ok thanks theriver

hope not many post more than 5 clips from same site in threads

    for 2nd..........I DO NOT AGREE

Have seen posts here with NOT an approved IMAGE host together with a required image host as thumbs. Maybe you misunderstood my question.

    Once more asked

Some rules are too strict (so phun staff should considering reply more serious to all members) however plz anyone from staff reply to this example below

Have seen many many members using a non-approved img host together with a required image host.

Example here (using my own example)

    http://forum.phun.org/showpost.php?p=5126164&postcount=152

This post is correct or not ???

    a)

using imagevenue for thumbs and a non-approved image host for the big image in this case pixhost

is this correct or not ??

File info. description is inside written.

If not correct i will edit and remove the pixh0st image but would like to know for any FUTURE posts.

Rules are too strict and phun staff needs to be replying for all members especially the ones who always read many times the rules :)

I'm not a mod, so I cannot speak with the authority that they have. However, as a semi-regular uploader and a regular at Phun, I think I can help you out:

You can NOT AGREE all you want - the rule is to ONLY use approved imagehosts. If there are Phun members not using approved imagehosts, then they're not following the rules. Also, if you're concerned about other members breaking the rules, you can report them and their violations in the Forum Issues thread. I think it's a pretty simple rule - ONLY use approved imagehosts.

Wow... aren't we a demanding little bastard.

First off, if you don't like the damn rules or think they're too strict, then go somewhere else... plenty of other webplaces for you to make all your insignificant cents.

Second, the example you posted would be a violation of the rules, for using an unapproved imagehost. So, my suggestion to you is to remove all images you've hosted on the unapproved imagehost in your posts.

Again, it's only a suggestion and I'm not a mod. So, if you want a wait for a mod to answer your question, that's cool. Just don't be an ass about it.

Everyone can say here his/her opinion there so don't call someone bastard or whatever as freedom and to make this place better would be nice. So your writing can't be polite at all.

Of course rules are rules and everyone has to check them twice whatever.

I used an SPECIFIC example as there are members out there who always read all rules and to make more clear.

    clear to that above then.

To conclude, This example semi-violates the rules as using a non approved host ALONG with a required img host for thumbs. (this was my 2nd specific question to use an approve img host with a non approved img host mixed somehow)

Will edit to remove the 1st pic but my point was to make it clear (for future posting) rather than to complain about anything of what it is allowed and what not here.

Maybe my writing was a bit stressed but rules are so strict and some things need to be double-checked.

BTW i am not daily poster here either and never violate extremely the rules my point was to double check and not to attack anyone........but if i see the reaction i change my mind about creating this specific topic really...

    anyway thanks for reply.

p.s. know the report button do not worry on that ;)

Firstly, in the cut and thrust of banter on phun, adultglory, being described by adjectives longer than four letters long is usually taken as merely a mild dig, so don't get upset! ;)

Secondly, pixhost is NOT an approved imagehost, as you can see for yourself in the rules! That's a fact, not an opinion!

Thirdly, there is no such thing as semi-violations of the rules!

Lastly, I think you'd be well advised to edit ASAP that post and any others you've created that may have slipped through the net - because an enterprising phunner might spot the rule breaches, report them in the Forum Issues thread, and a Mod might feel obliged to delete such posts - not merely the images!

Now that's the end of it! OK?
