  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    hey everyone can someon here help me please because i cant sort out this issue with proxies etc i dont understand it but bottom line: i cant download anything from RS no matterhow many times i deleete my cookies/history it still keeps telling me im downloading a file when im not, please help?

    Maybe you should check the FAQ at RS:
    It's usually the first point of call for most people with problems for any program!!!

    Your system complains about that I am already downloading files or that I have already downloaded too much. But I did not download anything! Whats wrong there?

    Our system checks your IP-address in order to count the downloads. If you are getting this message and you really did not download anything, then you are using a proxy-server, which is used by other people as well. Even if you have no proxy-server set up in your configuration, there are many providers who force a transparent proxy-servers between you and the net. If you do not believe us, go to other pages telling you your IP-address (for example http://www.myipaddress.com.) But what can you do? You have to disable this proxy-server. If you are not able to disable the proxy-server, the only solution IS a Premium-account. Premium-users are recognized by cookies, not by IP-address. Unfortunately we cannot disable our IP-check, else people would download so much that we would have to close down this service completely. I hope you understand our situation in this matter.

    I keep on saying this - Rapidshare offers a terrific service with over 5 million different files for download.And it's cheap.The number of letters I've seen about the way to dodge paying a cent or so in download fees is quite amazing! And it's only the payments which keep the operation going.

    and it works... nevertheless, there's a zip in here somewhere which can help you. just do a search for rapidshare program or something and you'll find what you need.

    There's a sticky in the general forum made by SemiPimpster that can help you with what you need. Even though I shouldn't be helping the noob that started this thread just cause he's having trouble leeching.
