Download speed ? very fast - awful?
upload speed ? very fast - Awful?

when using java drag and drop uploader does it hang after percent is 100%? if so how long, how big was upload.

zip uploads re-enabled

 

not uploading that much anymore, but... all fine by me.

one "question", though... any chance to add "4" (or change 3 to 4) @ the Images to Display Per Row? no big deal, but 4 fits pretty well to pun

It's worked for me, just as been more sluggish than usual the last day.

first the Bad news

we are experiencing slow speeds, this is due to massive server operations.

we are under constant attacks by hackers for some reason, not sure why they are targeting our free services.

to counter the attacks we are scanning the servers for weaknesses and exploits, then fixing them.

we are also performing a massive Backup campaign that will limit any data loss to just a couple day if the worst was to ever happen again.



Now the good stuff.

we have created a information Tag to go along clips which is required by most forums. this is all automatic just requires one click to perform.
we are still fine tuning this but if you wish to use it just check the info check box






we are working on a new upload feature. where you can choose to either go to the midsize image or a strait to the lg image like popular hosts. uploader may choose this option.

just to let you know, the other day when i tried viewing an image on sharenx, malware tried to install itself on my pc. luckily i stopped it from installing. it only did it once. the malware presented itself as if it was some antimalware/virus software. i'm sure you've seen it. it runs a scan and then gives you false info claiming you have viruses and malware. i later viewed the image with no problem, but just letting you know about this.

 

That is Damn near impossible, as we havnt changed the code on ads in months, but I take malware very seriously and will double check that immediately. Thanks for the letting me know this.

if your downloading a rar file it could be possible as we do not protect against extension on that, we have a program that cross checks the file extension against the file itself on every upload so files are clean.

but as i said i will stop everyhting else immediately and double check that

 

just would like to say that im overall pleased with your services. Sure some of the porn ads are a bit annoying but that is up to me if i want too see them or not all i need to do is to install adblock.

There was some downtime issues about two weeks ago but you guys seem to have worked hard on it. I had to save the url and paste into the addressfield and go that way to see gifs which i usually look at. Thankfully that has been resolved. So keep it up.

 

not really complaining, but it`s a little "hit or miss" lately. especially when you`re trying to maintain sth like this over a few weeks... hope i don`t need a backup on another imagehost....
