  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I've noticed another thread discussing the fact that the image host, ImageVenue, is becoming a royal pain in the ass. Mostly because I can't get pics to show when clicking on the thumbs. For everyone else besides the mods, don't blame phun.org for the imagehosts downfalls. My request is for the mods and anyone else to suggest the best imagehost with the best results and satisfaction. I'm going to give up on ImageVenue. Thanks.

    I've also had good luck with imagevenue right off the bat. I usually upload 5 at a time and post the code from the first box in a text file then cut and paste everything in at once. Sometimes I need to reorganize it to get it all in line but I haven't had any pics disappear yet.

    I switched to keepmyfile a couple of months ago, and use it exclusively. One person in that time posted a complaint about red Xs, but I think it was his settings.
    Register at keepmyfile, log in, and upload a zip (won't accept rar) file with 60 images or less, and keep it under 25mb. It's awesome for picture sets. Look at my posts from the babes forum lately. I have been uploading complete sets with 100+ pics with little effort.

    I don't have any problems with imagevenue. I use sharpuploader and have great success so far.

    Ahhhhhh, here I was badmouthing ImageVenue all this time and ImageVenue wasn't the problem. I'm still having difficulty seeing the large image when clicking on a thumb, but now I just use the thread tool provided and select the printable version which allows me to see the pic. I never had to use this method before, but at least it works. If anyone can explain to me or help me out about how I can get back to the old days when I just clicked on the thumb I would be most appreciative.
