  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Hi, I have posted a few clips on the forum here, but am having problems with one clip, I am trying to host with them. I am using the free Collector`s zone.
All the other bigger clips, about 150mb on average, have gone up no problem, but this smaller clip about 70mb, won`t go. I have tried renaming it, and was wondering about, changing the format to another kind of movie file, but think this is all in vain.
What actually happens is that once the file is finished uploading, the screen resets, and I am hoping to see this one added to the collection, but no.
Any help is very much appreciated.

sometimes RS recognizes a certain "banned" file regardless of the name. add the screencaps to the zip/rar and try again - different filesize, different checksum.

Yes it did the trick, tried it with another one, and that worked too, so thank you very much for the heads up about that.

I've always been able to reup blacklisted files after renaming them, then adding them to a .rar archive for what it's worth. I haven't upped a blacklisted file in a few months though, so maybe things have changed...
