  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

hi guys...i've a little proposal for the uploads of our files:why don't we start to use hosts that aren't rapidshare?just to say a name...www.megaupload.com
you can download everything and in everytime, also 1000 files at the same time (and you can't with rs)
the maximum size for the files is 250 mb (50 mb for rs)
the files are deleted after 30 days without downloads, just like rs...
so,what do you think about this???
make me know, maybe we can improve the use of this fantastic forum!!!
    good life

    this shit is banned
    and im happy about it!!!
RS and YSI all the way :>
there were hundreds or even thousands of ppl downloading the same file from MU which lead to a download of 1-5Kb/s!!!
thats one of the reason y the mods of the vid forum banned it

Megaupload is banned here because many have used it and complained about slow download speeds. For large uploads you need to be a member to download, and lastly, people were stealing megaupload links and posting them as their own. Stolen links were being posted to increase contributions to get restricted links. I wasn't an honest way to build a reputation.

Do a search for megaupload, and read some of the comments in the threads that come up. Do another search for ways to get around RapidShare download restrictions, and find a method that works for you.

One of the best host to store files was qfile, but it was bought by rapidshare; but, at least, now rapidshare is using -in my opinion- some of the features of qfile to give a better service.

I usually upload to friendlyshare.de. It goes at high speed, gives 50 MB to store archives and the usage is very similar to rapidshare

My download speeds from RS have been really slow recently. Might try friendlyshare for my next upload... provided it doesn't get banned.

Your apologized.........but in the future (that is if you don't do something to get yourself banned), maybe read the stickies and rules/faq, and other threads before starting a new thread, when all the questions to your topic have already been answered. That will make your stay here much better, you'll get alot more porn, and you won't piss off the mods or other members. :-?
