Problem with forum.

Hello, moderators and administrator. I am observing from 1-2 days that I am not able to click on smilies and other advanced post options to put in my threads and messages.The search function has also changed-instead of direct search facility now the advanced search option screen open up like for guest users which is annoying.Their are other small changes also gonna tell that in detail later.
Priority problem is that - Not able to click on Smilies,Fonts,Bold....etc etc (advance post options).
Please arrange for the speedy redresser of this problem.

try switching between the three options here:

USER CP -> Edit Options -> Miscellaneous Options

I tried all the three options but still not able to click on smilies and other format options.Everything is set to its position as it always use to, but yet many functions are not able to carry out.
1 more problem- when clicking on any members name, instead of options that come always, these days it shows directly members profile which again is displeasing.
Kindly do something about it as soon as possible.

I like to post colourful, similieful comments so this problem is really upsetting.

 

Do you have java scrips and or active X in your browser turned off?

 

Do you use ie browser? TRY THIS: Close the browser, if you want empty the internet cache (cookies, internet cached files,..). go to options, safety tab, click on STANDARD (normal) for internet. May also go to the advanced tab, click BACK TO STANDARD (don't know what text you have).

 

I use Opera browser latest version [but have been using it since joined this forum].I have-
Adobe flash player plugin
Adobe Shockwave player
Java(TM) 6 Update 2
Microsoft .Net framework 1.1
Quick Time plugin
etc etc. And I dont think that anything could have turned off by itself.Infact just to be double sure I just re-installed Java logged off the forum, came back again & checked but nothing has happened.

 

go to Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Content

check all that would apply for this forum.

 

Well.. I have got Firefox & IE 7 too, and have just checked these things with them.It's fine their. I don't understand what could be the problem with opera and that too suddenly from just 1-2 days back?
I have just installed flashjet on my system recently, what do you think, could this be the cause of this problem? & why only with opera?
What should I do?

 

Oh..I just scanned my system through Spybot search & destroy and it showed 2 bad entries of a spyware called Cpx Interactive. I fixed the problem and there goes away my problem! everything is working fine now!
I tried to look into the detail of CPX Interactive but Spybot showed no information on it.Don't know what kind of malware/spyware it was!?
