  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

problem uploading to RS

    was uploading a vid halfway during happyhour and suddenly the message came up that indication that the page had no data?? :-?

    so all the time spent was lost....has it happened to anyone before and was it during happy hour or not?

    i was thinking maybe during happy hour the host server could be experiencing lots of traffic and perhaps it might not be a good idea to upload during happy hour...yes? no??

    can anyone enlighten?

    When rs say it has a 50 meg limit, it means just that it maybe under that but it probably isn't. Also happy hour is the worst time to upload because of the thousands leeching.

    thanks for the advice. shall avoid happyhours at RS for uploading then....uploading now anyways....hope that it will go thru...the file is only 45 meg....

    I've uploaded during happy hour, but it seemed really slow. I've never had it tell me no data though.

    It's done it with me sometimes, just because it's a twat.

    Qfile's never played up like that, and it's basically identical to RS...

    Yeah happyhour is probably not the best time to be uploading videos ;) But tonight I had great speed uploading to RS while QFile was pretty average, and it's probably just me but I get more errors on QFile than I do with RS...
