  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

First of all I want to say I take pride in not bringing any junk to the board. I spend lots of time seaching the back alleys of the net for new content thats not been posted here before (I even got mugged once at a **** site). Once I find a pic or clip that I think is a true gem I then spend more time carefully searching the board to make sure it's not been posted before. My question is whats the right thing to do when I find my hard earned content 9 pages deep in the search results and posted 3 years ago? I tend to just say "shit someone has beat me to it" and not post. Should I thank and reply to the original poster and bring the post back to the top of the section? Or is it ok for me to post since the original is so old? Like Spike Lee I just wanna "Do the Right Thing" ;)

Thankyou for your comments and for asking for a response instead of posting whilst possibly breaking rules.

To start things off, we don't want to see old threads bumped. If you come across a thread that is older than 2 weeks, feel free to click the 'thanks' button. That way you're showing appreciation without resurrecting an old topic, if everyone bumped an old thread a day then the new topics would siapear in a hurry, and that isn't what we want.

If you're wanting to post something and it hasn't been posted, then of course you can go ahead and post it. If it has been posted and your content differs (such as the pics are higher quality or some are different or the video scene might be different) then feel free to post, but give a link to the old thread in your post so people know you've searched and won't report it as a repost.

If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to ask. Look forward to seeing your future offerings.
