Phun forum was one of my favorite, but I feel it's going badway right now...

At least 80% of the post in this "video mania" are only made by dumbass webmasters who only want to drive traffic to their website by posting link (and not video) to their websites... All videos are in .flv, streaming, not downloadable as they used to be not so far ago !!!

I enjoyed the forum when all post were made of rapidshare,megaupload...etc. links !

I think Moderators should create a new rule where you can not send visitors to any other website (except RS,MU...etc Of course !!)

Hope I'm not the only onbe to think that way but it's annoying.

First of all wrong forum to bitch about, so i moved it.
second thanks for leeching off the boards for so long and only decide to gripe about it and never share. So even if you get pissed off and leave it we won't be missing anything correct?

Third if you really cared for the board and have nothing to contribute video wise you could have at least reported to us all the videos without the "stream" in it's title so we can delete them for you. If it says stream then you would know better than to click on it right?

And lastly do you people honestly think this forum survives and exist off your leeching or just what you share? hosting just this forum alone costs over $1,200USD per month. So if we have some webmasters on here posting their stuff quit bitching about it.

Any other complaints i can help answer for you?

 

we try guys ... you probably don't realize how any threads actually get booted. We're in discussions right now on how to handle the vid forum. We want to keep it phun as well, it just tends to get cluttered really easily. Bear with us, reply to the threads with decent vids, and report shit threads in the forum issues area and we'll worm together to 'rid the spammers'

Couldn't tell ya the last time I've been to the video forum...all those threads suck

Take a look again EC..........spent alot of time trying to clean it up a bit..........about 600 videos lighter. We could use some help from you and older members as well by pointing out where the streaming vids are at.

I also just posted a new sticky in the video forum with updated rules about streaming vids.

According to the rules of this forum i am not to post anything that is copyrighted. therefor sharing these files or any files ripped from a site that is subject to a monthly billing fee is illegal, and with the problems faced at the Highland Retreat http://thr-support.com/index.html As noted here on SweetSnoepies Site http://sweetsnoepie.nl/ that eventually closed the site. i would rather leach than post the entire Katies-world web site, just to have this forum closed two weeks later by law suites or get banned for attempting it.
So i try to contribute in other ways, if i ever find a free video that is not posted here more that four times ill put it up, promise.
I encourage spammers. its the true pirates mind to find the jewel in the chest provided.

Did you ever thought that I might have created this new logion especially to complain, and that, before, I was not a leecher, but also a poster ?
Now, I understand your point of view, and I'll let you rule your forum as you wanted to, but without me... I won't post anymore (I have more that 2000 posts in my profile (of course I'm not the leader, and that's not what I wanted to be, but 2000 post seem good for me...) and I won't even download anything from your forum as it's quite impossible to download vids nowadays with all those dumbass as I said !

well, saying that you have more than 2000 posts dosnt exactly make you very very special, or some one dear to lose.
i see that there are members will 7000+ and 13000+ posts..and if you apply math from any part of the work, you will see that 7000 and 13000 is bigger that 2000

and no one makes anyone a leader for 2000 posts.
i am tempted to see your so called "2000" posts though.

but i never post any embelled video's from my forum..and neither have i seen any thread with such contents on phun.

Well on behalf of the staff I would like to apologize to make you feel unwelcome to express your own thoughts using your true identity. We must have failed you somehow where you feel the need to make a new account in case you might damage your image using your true account. All thoughts and ideas are welcomed on this board, new or old but to hear not a single credible critique but only complaints from somebody with just 1 account how would you have reacted? I stand by my statement when i said if you are just a leecher then we won't be missing you much. Am I correct in making that statement? Or was I wrong to do so?

Now as far as your reasons as to why you feel this "non-forum" sucks I already answered all the points you made up. Where else can you honestly go where the admin never once ask anybody for a dime or ask to join any "VIP" or donation group? This is an absolutely 100% free forum, somebody has got to pay for all this hosting. If you feel the need to go elsewhere then please do so. I have banned members with 7k+ posts so trust me I will not miss anybody on here who has felt the need to disguise himself.
