  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I'm curious why phun.org in a minor way seems to go through "phases"! In one "phase" (Phase A) it automatically refreshes/reloads the page you're on after you've done something, and in the other "phase" (Phase B) it requires a press of the "reload current page" button (FF) to get it to respond!

For example, when one has created a new thread on the Model Forum and has completed the transaction, in Phase A one's new thread immediately appears at the top under the sticky's, whereas in Phase B one needs to manually force the reload to get one's thread to appear!

Although I've not actually kept a record, these "phases" appear to last for days or perhaps even weeks - we're currently in the non-automatic Phase B!

    Any thoughts?

probably a "performance-issue". new posts and threads have to be indexed - required time for building the new index might vary.
