If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Sorry, I don't know who in Phun.org to address this to therefore, I posted it here.

This is in regards to a certain IP subnet that Phun's firewall (??) doesn't like:

The following are my trace report to forum.phun.org

218.x IP subnet works fine but a 116.x IP doesn't:

Question: what is it that Phun.org doesn't like about a 116.48 IP subnet?

This can be replicated 100% and any time of the day.

The problem is we get alot of hackers from your fellow countrymen. 90% of our forum hackers are from china(including HK) and Russia. I can see about possibly lifting that particular IP but you have nothing but your fellow countrymen to blame for us wanting to protect our site.

Well, I won't argue that but probably blame it more on China than Hong Kong. Hong Konger's love pr0n :) China people are more traditionalists.

If you could lift that subnet, that would be great. Otherwise, I may have to live with it...or see if my ISP can force a 218.x distribution based on my MAC address.

    Thanks

Thanks...but could you ask them to unblock 116.48.x.x instead? I have a dynamic IP address...and my current IP is not 106.87.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It works.

This certainly saves me a lot of hassle connecting and disconnecting whenever I received a 116.48 subnet

    Thanks again!

    Cheers!
