  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Photoshop Hosting Probs

    I've now made my 1st sig on adobe photoshop elements, but i cant seem to find any pic host that will take it, is this because of the software or is it just that nobody will host this type of file? thx in advance.. :neutral: and ive used all the normal host sites...

    save it as a jpg while you are in there or gif if it's animated...and host it like the other pics

    The file format is the problem then. Not sure of any site that will host such file types. Try converting it to jpeg or a gif.

    tried both, i have it saved as everything now,it will preview in windows,but when i upload it,it takes the file gives me a link but shows me a broken pic icon nistead of my sig..

    So were you able to convert the file on your computer to a jpeg or gif? Is so what was the size of the file?

    So you could not convert the file to a jpeg or gif? Im trying to locate the problem here. If you can't convert it to one of those formats then you most likely won't be able to use it as a sig.

    managed to convert to both:- jpeg- 30Kb gif- 27 Kb

    If all this fails, im just gonna pick up normal photoshop cos its gotta be convertable, everyone else seems to use that, just gotta find one thats 98 se compatable.

    make sure the file name just has letters and numbers in it except for one . before the file extension.

    So it worked? Did you have to change the filename? Or was it the fact you used a different site to upload to?
