    Bands have been acting crazy for years and no one raises an eyebrow. Miley does it and people become super critical as if everything she does must have a point.

    She's been hanging out with the Flaming Lips (incredible band btw) for years now.

    There is not supposed to be some serious point, it's just about being crazy/having fun/letting loose.

    Do a google image search for "Flaming Lips live" and check out the concert photos.
