  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Media Player Classic

    I'm trying to use media player classic to capture screencaps and when i capture a image and save it it's saved as a bitmap image and i can't host it. i need someone to tell me what i am doing wrong thanks for your help

    I just started using WMP Classic for screencaps too, and ran into the same problem. I'm using XP, and I had to double click on the image so it would open, and at the bottom of the page click on the Disk Icon, and when the box came up to save I hit the pull down beside "bitmap" and changed it to "jpg".
    To avoid this, when you save the screencaps initially, look to see if they are being saved as bitmaps, and change to jpg before saving.

    Or, save it as a bitmap, open the bitmap in MS Paint, then file, save as, and change it to a JPEG.
