  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Just a thought, but is there anyway to get a plan set where threads that get pushed to page 3 (not saying it has to be page 3, just using that page as an example) locked automatically? I think a lot of older threads would stay "dead" that way. Maybe this should be a Video Vault only thing...but I think "killing" some threads would help keep things tidy.

I think the system is good as it is. If a thread is older than 2 weeks and someone replies to it without bringing in fresh content, it is locked if a mod notices it, or is alerted to it.

Some threads can disapear very quickly to page 3 and thereafter. Someone might make a thread at 8am and say "I'll post the rest when I have time later tonight," and 12 hours later, their thread has been overtaken, it's only fair that they can add to their thread instead of starting a new one, which will cluster up the forum even more.

With the business of the forums, some pretty good threads can fall onto Page 3 within a day quite easily, and if someone wants to add to it or show their gratitude, then that is fine, even if there's lots of threads above it.

Just my 2 cents on the question.
